Is SofIPTV an IPTV provider or does it supply channels?
No. SofIPTV is not an IPTV provider; it is only a media player. It does not host, supply or resell channels or subscriptions. You use your own lawfully obtained playlist or credentials.
What happens after the 7 days?
The app offers to activate it for €9.99, once. Your settings, favourites and connection are kept: activation unlocks them instantly.
What content can I play?
Any M3U playlist you are lawfully entitled to use: freely broadcast channels, web radios, corporate or institutional streams, cameras, personal media libraries, or services you subscribe to.
Are my credentials sent anywhere?
No. Your IPTV credentials and playlists stay locally on your device. Only technical data required for the SofIPTV trial and licence is processed for activation.
A channel will not start — is it the app?
Usually not: the channel is offline, geographically restricted, or your subscription is already in use on another device. The app shows the exact reason.
How do I pay?
By card or PayPal, on a secure payment page. We neither see nor store your banking details.
Does SofIPTV work on Samsung, LG, Fire TV and Google TV?
SofIPTV is available as an APK for Google TV / Android TV, Android phones/tablets and Amazon Fire TV. Public distribution for Samsung Tizen and LG webOS is being prepared.
Which IPTV connection methods are supported?

Do Fire TV and Google TV use the same app?
No. Google TV / Android TV and Amazon Fire TV use two separate APKs. Always choose the download that matches your device.

Yes. The official SofIPTV APK can now be downloaded directly from sofiptv.com for Google TV / Android TV and Amazon Fire TV. Google Play and the other stores marked “coming soon” are not required for direct installation. Only use the official SofIPTV APK.
