M3U IPTV player for Amazon Fire TV
The Fire TV version of SofIPTV shares the Android TV codebase while identifying itself separately to the backend. It is intended for Fire TV devices based on Fire OS.
Installation and compatibility
SofIPTV can be distributed through the Amazon Appstore and, on Fire OS devices that permit direct installation, as a signed APK. Amazon devices using a different operating system may require a separate build.

- Open Settings → My Fire TV / Device & Software → About.
- Reveal Developer Options. Highlight your Fire TV device name and press the centre/OK button 7 times, then go back.
- Allow installation. Under Developer Options, open Install unknown apps / Apps from Unknown Sources and allow only the tool that will open the APK.
- Download the Fire TV APK. Type https://sofiptv.com/get/firetv or use the button above.
- Open the file → Install. The Fire TV build is different from the Google TV / Android build.

Connect your IPTV source
In ⚙ Config, choose Xtream Codes, M3U URL or Portal according to the information supplied by your service. SofIPTV stores a new source only after a successful channel-list load, so an incorrect attempt does not replace the last working connection.
Remote control and navigation
Navigation is designed for the Fire TV remote and directional pad. The app uses the same SofIPTV trial, activation and licensing service as the other TV platforms.
Troubleshooting
If you distribute the APK directly, keep the same signing key for future updates. For playback issues, also verify that the stream and codec are supported by the Fire TV model in use.

SofIPTV is a media player. It does not provide, host or resell television channels or media content. Use only playlists, streams and services you are lawfully entitled to access.

Does SofIPTV include an IPTV subscription?
No. SofIPTV is a player only. You must provide your own lawfully obtained source.
Are my IPTV credentials sent to the SofIPTV server?
No. IPTV connection details remain on your device. The backend handles only the trial, activation and licence.
Can I change provider or playlist?
Yes. Enter the new source in Config. It becomes the saved source only after it successfully loads a channel list.
